Introduction, Apologies, Substitutions and Declarations of Interest

[1]          Huw Irranca-Davies: Prynhawn da. Croeso i chi i gyd.

Huw Irranca-Davies: Good afternoon. A warm welcome to you all.

[2]          Welcome to this session of the Constitutional and Legislative Affairs Committee. We will move to item No. 1, where we do have apologies from Dafydd Elis-Thomas and also from Nathan Gill. So, with those apologies, we can move forward. We have no declarations of interest, I’m assuming, in terms of today’s business.

Offerynnau nad ydynt yn Cynnwys Unrhyw Faterion i’w Codi o dan Reol Sefydlog 21.2 neu 21.3
Instruments that Raise No Reporting Issues under Standing Order 21.2 or 21.3

[3]          Huw Irranca-Davies: We’ll move to item No. 2. Item No. 2: instruments that raise no reporting issues under Standing Order 21.2 or 21.3. We have, under paper 1, a statutory instrument with clear reporting. We have two with negative resolution—the Caseins and Caseinates (Wales) Regulations 2016, and the Firefighters’ Pension (Wales) Scheme (Amendment and Transitional Provisions) Order 2016. Do we have any comments or observations from Members? No. Content to note those? Thank you.

Papurau i’w Nodi
Papers to Note

[4]          Huw Irranca-Davies: We also have item No. 3. The papers to note there include the written statement by the Counsel General for Wales—the Counsel General’s written submission to the Supreme Court in respect of article 50 litigation. Paper 2 is that written statement. Paper 3 is the Counsel General’s written submission to the Supreme Court. Are we happy to note? Thank you very much. We move to paper No.4—report by the Wales Governance Centre on reshaping the Senedd. Are we happy to note?
